ISC3 Innovation Challenge in Sustainable Chemistry and Waste: Prevention, Valorisation & Management
In an effort to accelerate the search for innovative solutions in the chemistry-sphere, the launched its third Innovation Challenge to engage, award and promote Sustainable Chemistry innovators from around the world.
The Innovation Challenge 2021/2022 calls for innovations in the field of Sustainable Chemistry and Waste: Prevention, Valorisation & Management. Topics addressed by innovation proposals may include, among others, waste reduction/avoidance by resource-efficient chemical and biotechnological production, substitution of critical product ingredients preventing recycling, product design for longevity and better recyclability, recovery and reuse of waste streams such as plastic and other materials waste, electronic waste, agricultural and food waste, construction waste, production waste, wastewater and other waste streams, recycling, beneficial reuse and value recovery, energy and scarce element recovery, business models facilitating waste collection and valorisation, safe and sound management of waste, waste management related to renewable energy supply.
The Challenge will provide its five finalists with the customized support within the as well as global visibility, networking possibilities, pitch training and pitching during our . The winner will additionally receive a 15,000€ monetary prize and two further categories, namely “Best Social Impact†and “Best Regional Impactâ€, will be awarded monetary prizes of 5.000€ each.
The Innovation Challenge is open for all ideators and entrepreneurs employed by organisations including research institutes, start-ups, small-medium sized enterprises or comparable institutions active in the development and realisation of sustainable chemistry innovations.
