Cardiff Metropolitan University joins with partners across Cardiff Capital Region to drive growth
On 25 April 2024, signed a pioneering agreement with and other Higher and Further Education (HE & FE) institutions from South East Wales. The landmark Memorandum of Understanding brought together the three universities based in Wales’ capital, , , and the , alongside the Region’s Further Education colleges, including Merthyr Tydfil, Coleg Gwent, Cardiff and Vale College, Coleg Y Cymoedd, and Bridgend College. The MoU establishes a framework for future collaboration, centred around key objectives for enhancing economic wellbeing within the region. This unprecedented collaboration is meant to ensure that the broader region reaps the rewards of cooperative efforts, supports the business community, upskills the workforce and delivers wider public benefits across south-east Wales.
